BOSS BLACK

On the evening of January 28, 2009, HUGO BOSS will be presenting its BOSS Black Collection for Fall/Winter 2009/10 in a glamorous event that will kick off the fourth Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.

Some 700 invited guests are expected to attend the show, which will be held in the
fabled, century-old main greenhouse at the Botanical Gardens in Berlin’s Dahlem district. BOSS Black Head Designer Ingo Wilts will be gracing this charming venue with a joint presentation of his mens- and womenswear collections.

The new looks were created under the thematic heading “Winter Cuts” and feature the interplay of masculine and feminine elements, precision cuts and impactful details. While near-sheer fabrics and sensuous proportions enhance the femininity of the women’s collection, classic tailoring and a mix of formal and informal styles signify the poised confidence that defines BOSS Black menswear. Together the two collections embody a unique blend of contemporary charisma and cosmopolitan elegance.

“Our continued presence in Berlin emphasizes our commitment to the city’s ongoing evolution as a global fashion capital,” explained Philipp Wolff, Director of
Communication at HUGO BOSS AG. “In our view, regular presentations to international fashion audiences are a key factor in our collections' success. We therefore plan to further pursue and promote this strategy in the future.”
